Koepka's 16-under total tied the tournament record for lowest total under par, which was set by Rory McIlroy in 2011 at ...

Erin Hills had been wide open all tournament long, with light winds and soft conditions leading to new records for birdies, low rounds, and players under par. Brooks Koepka wins U S Open with historic performance

- golf.com
19 Jun 2017
Koepka is a slow-walking 27-year-old Floridian, strong as an ox, and polite and earnest. He experienced his first taste of big-time, under-the-spotlight golf last year at the Ryder Cup, and played his fifth U.S. Open like it was his 15th. (It was his 15th major of his career.) It is decidedly uncommon for a player to win a major the first time he is in contention for one, ...

Koepka's score relative to par tied Rory McIlory's tournament record from 2011 at Congressional, appropriate considering McIlroy was the star of the ...

3. A FOX commentator misidentified her at the U.S. Open! The wind kicked up, but it didn't faze Koepka. He shot 5-under par and made only one bogey to finish at 16-under 272. That was four shots clear of Hideki Matsuyama and Brian Harman. The only drama at the end was whether he'd make birdie on the par-5 18th to break Rory McIlroy's scoring record in relation to par.

Ryder Cup Gave Koepka Confidence to Withstand U S Open Pressure

19 Jun 2017
If not for the crushing pressure of the Ryder Cup, Koepka wouldn't be the new U.S. Open champion. Keeping your composure -- and cushion of a lead -- down the stretch will barely cause you to break a sweat after you've survived three days' worth of jangling nerves and stomach in a constant state of free fall.

The other great part is Fox mixing up his current girlfriend with his ex. Koepka - my man! So many ladies that the announcers can't even keep them straight.
