Chelsea Manning has been no stranger to controversy: After all, the former military intelligence analyst spent seven years in prison for leaking classified government secrets, and was released after President Obama commuted her sentence . Now, as reported by the the The Washington Post , just two days after Manning was named to be one of four visiting fellows at the Harvard Kennedy School s Institute of Politics, dean Douglas W. Elmendorf rescinded his decision in a university statement posted shortly after midnight on Friday, September 15.
