Though what we learned on Friday following Flynn's deal with the FBI is that he was instructed to make these calls by senior-level members of Trump's transition staff, with reports indicating that Jared Kushner was one of the individuals who gave that approval. That makes it a little ridiculous for Trump to keep implying that they knew nothing about these calls until weeks later when Flynn just admitted that he was acting on orders from the "president's" own family -- and I'm confident that they most likely weren't giving these instructions without approval from him, first.
