Marine Corps Legend "Gunny" R Lee Ermey Dead

R. Lee Ermey, perhaps the most iconic pop culture face of the Marine Corps, has succumbed to complications associated with pneumonia. Ermey rose to fame after his on screen portrayal of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in the 1987 film Full Metal Jacket. Ermey, better known as Gunny, died Sunday at age 74.
